Abstract:
The gear transmission system is the core to ensure the normal operation of open-pit mine vehicle reducers. Aiming at the poor performance of traditional systems, this study proposes a new automated gear transmission system for open-pit mine vehicle reducers. Experimental results show that in simulation experiments, the average stress and absolute deviation of the proposed system were 451.07 MPa and 11.46 MPa respectively; while those of traditional systems were 514.73 MPa and 14.24 MPa respectively. The average fatigue life and absolute deviation of the system were ten thousand hours and 0.017 ten thousand hours respectively; while those of traditional systems were 0.83 ten thousand hours and 0.026 ten thousand hours respectively. In actual performance experiments, the average transmission efficiency and absolute deviation of the proposed system were 91.28 percent and 0.86 percent respectively; while those of traditional systems were 84.57 percent and 0.95 percent respectively. In conclusion, the proposed design improves the stability and efficiency of the gear transmission system. This research can optimize the operational performance and reliability of gear transmission systems in open-pit mine vehicle reducers, Ensuring the safe conduct of operations in the mining sector.
