Abstract:
With the acceleration of industrialization in China, the demand for mineral resources has surged, leading to significant increases in the scale and intensity of open-pit mining. As repositories for overburden and waste rock generated during mining activities, open-pit mine dumps have increasingly serious ecological pollution issues. This study reviews relevant research achievements on restoration technologies for open-pit mine dumps, focusing on geological stability restoration, soil remediation, and water resource restoration. Targeted recommendations are proposed to provide references for mine ecological restoration practices.
