Abstract:
In order to rationally develop a low-grade polymetallic ore containing Pb−Zn−Au−Ag in Henan Province, a comprehensive recovery process was carried out on the polymetallic ore. The experimental results show that when the raw ore is ground to −0.074 mm at 70 %, bulk flotation produces bulk concentrates with lead, zinc, gold, and silver grades and recovery rates of 4.51 %, 6.50 %, 25.05 g/t, 596.00 g/t, as well as 81.38 %, 84.30 %, 83.17 %, and 85.29 %, respectively. The leaching rates of gold and silver in the cyanide treatment of bulk concentrate are 86.91 % and 88.63 %, respectively. A lead-preferential and zinc-from-tailings flotation process is applied to the leach residue, and lead concentrate with a lead grade of 45.72 %, gold grade of 30.06 g/t, silver grade of 561.00 g/t, and lead recovery rate of 88.90 % in the lead-preferential flotation stage are obtained, as well as zinc concentrate with a zinc grade of 56.78 % and zinc recovery rate of 90.08 % in the zinc-from-tailings flotation stage. The comprehensive recovery of valuable metals in this low-grade polymetallic ore is achieved by using the process of bulk flotation of raw ore, concentrate cyanide leaching, and residue flotation of lead and zinc.
