Abstract: The geotectonic location of Qibozi Gold Silver Deposit is the middle section on the northern margin of North China Platform,the east of Zunhua dome fold bundle of Malanyu complex anticline in Zunhua-Qianxi complex fold tectonic zone,the south side of Miyun-Xifengkou-Qinglong-Mutoudeng great fault.There are many gold,silver and molybdenum deposits on the fault and both sides.Among them,the most typical ones are Yuerya Gold Deposit,Jinchangyu Gold Deposit,Huajian Gold Deposit and so on.In order to make breakthrough of prospecting in breccia ore section of Qibozi Gold Silver Deposit,1∶2 000 geological mapping,1∶10 000 lithogeochemical survey and CSAMT were conducted.The results of lithogeochemical survey show that gold and silver are the major minerals that dominate Qibozi Gold Silver Deposit,and 1 combination anomaly was delineated as prospecting target;CSAMT shows that breccia is the main ore-forming geological body with good prospecting potential.Engineering verification shows that silver ore bodies were delineated on the surface,altered granite was discovered in the deep part and with mineralization implications.It is inferred that there are concealed gold ore bodies in the deep part.The practice shows that comprehensive prospecting methods greatly improve prospecting effect,and provide theoretical basis and experience for future mineral prospecting in the region.
