Abstract: The research area is located in the important mineralization zones,the west part of Chifeng-Chaoyang metallogenic province,where gold,molybdenum and polymetallic deposits concentrate and develop.Through the analysis and summary of the metallogenic geological background,typical deposit characteristics,geochemical anomalies,metallogenic conditions and prospecting signs in the research area,it is considered that the research area has good metallogenic conditions and great potential of mineralization; it is determined that the mineral species in the research area should be Au,Ag,Zn,Mo and so on; the main deposit types should be ductile-shear zone type gold deposits and volcanic-subvolcanic polymetallic deposits.The research area has many favorable places for prospecting,such as the contact zone of Yanshanian granite body and diorite body,the composite site of volcanic fracture and regional fracture,alteration zone and so on.
