Abstract: Silver electrolysis refining process produces electrolyte waste solution that contains much silver and valuable metals.The paper analyzed the electrochemical behavior and influence of the impurity elements in the silver electrolyte waste solution,summarized the main purification processes for silver electrolyte waste solution,and focused on the introduction of nitrate fusion decomposition method and hydrolysis precipitation method and the advantages and disadvantages of each process.The study has guiding significance for choosing the right electrolyte waste solution purification method used in silver electrolysis refining plant.
