Abstract: The mass fraction of sericite in flotation tailings from Taiyangping Gold Mine is as high as 50 %,making it worth recovering.The experiment investigates and optimizes the sericite recovery process and decides the magnetic separation+hydraulic cyclone classification process be used to recover sericite from flotation tailings and apply it to industrial production.The practice shows that the grade of sericite concentrates is 23.27 % and the recovery rate is 48.18 %,which are good index.The treatment of flotation tailings achieves comprehensive recovery and utilization,reduces tailings emission,increases mining economics.
