Abstract: Gold futures and gold T＋D business don’t do well in meeting the requirements of the market in that gold futures cannot be delivered daily,which is not conducive to the trade flow of gold enterprises;the overall holding cost of gold T＋D is relatively high,in recent years,the overall trading volume and holding volume have declined,while the guarantee fund inquiry business is a new development path for gold business.The paper compares and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these 3 types of business:guarantee fund inquiry business in commercial banks,gold futures,and gold T＋D,explores the feasibility and measures of commercial banks conducting guarantee fund inquiry business,in order to provide a new choice for gold trading.
