Abstract: It requires stable operation,high precision,and good repeatability from an electronic belt scale,an online weighing device.The paper in detail introduces the working principles and characteristics of the Siemens MMI-2 electronic belt scale.Taking into account the factors that influence the electronic belt scale measurement precision during installation,the error induced in the installation of the electronic belt scale is reduced by reasonably arranging the scale frame and calibrating weighing sensors,and the measurement precision and repeatability of the belt scale are improved.Based on that,material verification further improves the measurement precision of the electronic belt scale.The measurement error is controlled at ±0.25 %,meeting the process requirement.
