Abstract: Erdaogou Gold Deposit is a very important typical gold deposit in Jiapigou high ore concentration area,which belongs to one of the important high ore concentration areas in off-shore Pacific metallogenic belt.The rock core samples are collected and analyzed to determine the rare earth elements characteristics and deposit types in Erdaogou Gold Deposit.The results show that each type of rocks is characterized by right-inclined LREE enrichment,less obvious HREE differentiation,obviously greater inclination rate of LREE than HREE;the differentiation is highly consistent between altered and yet altered rock LREE and HREE,indicating close relation between ore-forming fluids source and Mesozoic medium-acidic vein rock such as orthophyre;given the LREE characteristics,Erdaogou Gold Deposit is further confirmed as typical magmatic hydrothermal fluid gold deposit.
