Abstract: Based on the problems that the production efficiency is low,operation safety is poor and workload is intense when short-hole shrinkage mining method is applied in Xinda mining company,experimental research on mediumlong hole sublevel drilling stage open stoping mining method is carried out as well industrial test in Dongbaishu Mining District.The results show that the medium-long hole sublevel drilling stage open stoping mining method has good safety performance,with production capacity 150 t for each machine per shift,mining loss rate 23.90 % and ore dilution rate 12.12 %,effectively reducing production cost,improving overall mining efficiency and quality and reducing labor investment.The method can provide a new idea for similar mines.
