Abstract: Multiple ore bodies are distributed in the Gaolong Dome,and the surrounding circular fractures form the ore bodies.As the research theory of multi-level structural altered body has made significant achievements in gold prospecting in southwest Guizhou,it is believed that the hydrothermal fluid is likely to form a multi-level structural altered body on the unconformity surface near the core of the anticline (dome) or the rock surface with a large variance in dehydratability.Through the first study on the characteristics of the structural altered body in the Gaolong Dome,the characteristics and distribution of the ore body,as well as the circular fractures,were re-recognized.Finally,the potential for ore prospecting was analyzed,which can provide a basis for further prospecting in the Gaolong Dome.
