Abstract: Gold is recovered from cyanide barren solution by activated carbon adsorption method in a gold smelter.The gold-loaded carbon has high impurity content and low productivity.The gold recovery rate can be over 99 % by the gold-loaded carbon burning,gold collection by smelting with silver addition into carbon ash,silver recovery by silver electrowinning,hydrometallurgical refining of anode slime.The cost of gold-loaded carbon burning smelting is about 14.9 yuan/kg.The process requires less investment and has low production cost,short production cycle and high recovery rate.It bears promotion significance in recovering gold from gold-loaded carbon for similar enterprises.
