Abstract: The Laizishan anticline area is located in the center of carlin type gold deposit concentration area in southwestern Guizhou.The metallogenic conditions in the area are good.The geological features of 9 gold deposits(points) in the Laizishan anticline area were analyzed and the mineralization rules in the area are summarized.It points out that the gold mineralization in the research area does not show exclusivity to strata and has a choice for litho combination.The region’s ore hosting and controlling structures are categorized into two types:fracture structure and interface structure.The former structure is the dominant one,mainly trending in northeastern and northwestern direction.Enrichment of ore bodies changes with tectonic combinations,structural stress intensity,litho combinations,saturated layers and unsaturated layers.The paper points out that the east wing of Laizishan anticline has more favorable conditions for metallogenesis than the west wing and the core of the anticline.Therefore,the prospecting focus of next-step prospecting work should be in the east wing.
