Abstract: The flotation process is a complex flow field formed by the interaction of multiple phases,which plays a key role in the segregation performance of flotation equipment.With the unceasing development of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology and its unique advantages in the fluid flow field,CFD technology has been widely used in the field of flotation and plays an important research tool for understanding flotation mechanisms and developing and optimizing new equipment.The paper introduces the numerical simulation of CFD technology in the flow field of flotation equipment and the flotation process,categorizes and reviews the application and current status of research of CFD in flotation equipment,and at the same time,points out the development direction of CFD technology in flotation.
