Abstract: Thiourea leaching of gold is one of the most promising alternative gold leaching methods because of its high efficiency,little toxicity and other advantages.Biological oxidation pretreatment with thiourea leaching process has attracted much attention due to its mild conditions,environmental friendliness and high gold leaching efficiency.In this paper,the principle,influencing factors and recovery methods of gold leaching from thiourea are introduced in detail,and the development of gold leaching by thiourea is prospected.
