Abstract: In the process of solid mineral resources estimation,the geological industry has not reached a consensus on whether to deal with large-thickness projects and with what methods to deal with them,especially during the rock gold resources estimation.In a case study of a rock gold deposit in Guangxi,the study uses 5 different methods to deal with the large-thickness project,compares and analyzes them,and discusses the related problems in determining the threshold and method of large-thickness projects treatment,so as to provide a reference for the estimation of solid mine-ral resources.
