Abstract: The chamber type filter press and non-woven filter cloth are used to purify pregnant solution in a gold refinery.There are some problems in the purification process,such as poor purification effect,short service life of filter cloth and low grade of gold mud.By adding a layer of filter aid(ore pulping) to the surface of non-woven filter cloth and removing the previous series connected secondary purification filter press,the purification effect of the pregnant solution can be effectively improved,the turbidity is greatly reduced,the gold mud grade is increased and the service life of filter cloth can be prolonged by 60 %,creating sizable profits.
