Abstract: The high purity precious metal material manufacturing industry is a key new material field supported by the state.Gold Smelter of Zijin Mining Group produces high purity silver by means of electrolytic refining method.With IC-Ag99.99 cast pure silver plate as anode,titanium plate as cathode and silver nitrate solution as electrolyte liquor,when silver mass concentration is 150-300 g/L,current density is 500-800 A/m2,temperature is 35 ℃-45 ℃,and homopolar distance is 12 cm,high purity silver with mass fraction 99.999 % is prepared.This method can realize the industrial production of high purity silver and obtain high purity silver raw materials with stable quality for semiconductor industries,such as target or evaporation source materials.And it also produces good economic benefits.
