Abstract: Cut raise is a key project as well as a challenge in the ore block preparation cutting project.Compared to other excavation construction methods,the shaft-sinking-by-single-medium-long-hole-blasting technique is an effective way to safely and quickly cut raise.The technique is employed by Jinfeng Gold Mine in its section and stripe filling method to excavate the stope cut raise.By boring 7 empty holes to create free faces,staged charging and short-delay detonation,cut raise excavation is successfully completed.Engineering practice shows that the shaft-sinking-by-single-medium-long-hole-blasting technique renders safe operation environment,can reduce labor intensity,saves construction cost and is significant for enhanced mining.
