Abstract: During the development of thallium-containing nonferrous metal mineral resources,the mine acid wastewater and smelter dust settlement that has not been effectively treated will lead to a large amount of thallium entering the environment,posing a serious threat to human beings and the ecological environment.In this paper,the national and local standards related to thallium pollutants,the technology for thallium-containing wastewater treatment,and its industry application are described in detail,and the development direction of thallium pollutant treatment in the nonferrous metals industry is predicted.The nonferrous metals industry should take active measures to mitigate thallium pollution from the aspects of source control,process supervision,terminal treatment,and accomplished emergency response plans for thallium pollution.
