Abstract: In the process of zinc hydrometallurgy,the purification of leaching solutions is the key process.The purification methods for the main impurities of cobalt,fluorine and chlorine in the zinc leaching solution are summarized in this paper.The traditional processes of cobalt removal,the new methods of purification,and the methods for simultaneous fluorine and chlorine removal,individual fluorine removal,and individual chlorine removal are included.The advantages and disadvantages as well as the prospect of the methods are analyzed.The research can provide basis for the selection of zinc leaching solution purification methods for smelting enterprises.
