Abstract: Since the United States subprime mortgage crisis,the fluctuation of gold prices has become greater,and the number of impact factors has been increasing.What’s more,the correlation between these factors and gold prices is varying consistently,increasing the uncertainty.In order to improve the market practitioners’ understanding of the gold market,the paper analyzed the impact of gold property on gold prices and the correlations between them from three major properties including commodity,currency and finance.The study contributes to improving the judgment of market practitioners,evading market fluctuation risks,and keeping the healthy and robust development of gold industry.
