Abstract: Sandaocha Gold Deposit is a typical gold deposit in Jiapigou metallogenic belt.Challenged by depleting near-surface resources,the mine is facing a reserve crisis.So it’s urgent to carry out a deep prospecting project and achieve a significant prospecting breakthrough.The paper read through geological data and scientific achievements,summarized the geological characteristics of the deposit and the ore-controlling law,and put forward the new direction of deep prospecting.Verified by engineering practice,a second enrichment section was achieved in the ore body deep in the No.3 gold-bearing fault.The study summed up prospecting experience and understanding,providing references for prospecting in similar deposits.
