Abstract: The ores from a porphyry copper mine abroad contain 0.56 % copper and 0.18 g/t gold,the pyrite content is high,the Cu-S ratio low and the associated gold is mainly exposed gold.Based on these features,the flowsheet "gold-copper fast flotation and copper preferential flotation at different alkali conditions" was designed and the influence factors like collector,regulator and grinding fineness were investigated.The results show that under optimal conditions,a closedcircuit test can obtain a comprehensive copper concentrate with 20.91 % Cu and 5.31 g/t Au,and Cu recovery 92.33 % and Au recovery 70.96 %,which are good indexes.The gold and copper resources in the porphyry copper ores are recovered effectively.
