Abstract: With increasing mining depth of Lingyuan Rixing Gold Mine,the engineering geology and ore body occurrence conditions in Lingyuan Rixng Gold Mine are becoming more complicated,making it necessary to carry out such geological work as investigation of the structural face of the rock mass.The paper introduced the method to investigate the geological conditions and structural face in Lingyuan Rixing Gold Mine,carried out investigation and did statistics of the structural face of the rock mass in different levels,analyzed the characteristics of the structural face investigation characteristics with the histogram and the point diagram,contour diagram,rose diagram generated with Dips software,decided the preferred structural face occurrence,analyzed the influence of rock mass structural face on rock mass,and provided basis for the stability analysis and evaluation for rock mass engineering and mining plan design.
