Abstract: The rock is hard in Dunde Mining Company,and the manual drilling is labor-intensive,the drilling efficiency low and the underground working environment poor.To ensure mine production capacity,and improve drilling efficiency and underground working environment,Dunde Mining Company has introduced BOOMER-281 single-arm hydraulic drill jumbo to replace manual drilling.The paper in detail introduced the performance parameters and features of the drilling equipment and analyzed the actual application of the drilling equipment to Dunde Mining Company.The BOOMER-281 single-arm hydraulic drill jumbo is compared with manual drilling construction on their efficiency.The results show that BOOMER-281 single-arm hydraulic drill jumbo can improve excavation efficiency by 35 %,man labor efficiency by 300 %,reduce drilling explosives consumption by 370 000 yuan/a,and ensure operators’ safety.
