Abstract: Shuiquangou Area is located in the western section of the Malanyu anticlinorium.It is a concentrated production area of gold,iron,molybdenum and other minerals,and has good metallogenic geological conditions.By carrying out 1∶10 000 soil geochemical survey in the area,using elemental variation coefficient,enrichment coefficient,correlation analysis,factor analysis and other technical methods,the test results of 12 elements in the soil in this area are statistically analyzed,showing that Au and Ag have the potential to enrich and mineralize;4 comprehensive anomalies with Ag and Au as the main ore-forming elements have been delineated,and 2 of them have been revealed by engineering works,which proved to be ore-induced anomalies.The similar analogy method is used to predict the amount of gold resources,which further proves that Shuiquangou Area has good metallogenic potential.
