Abstract: The No.15-6 ore body in Honghuagou Gold Mine belongs to steeply inclined medium-thick ore body that has poor ore rock stability.So resue-and-fill mining method can easily lead to poor safe operation conditions in the stope and great mining loss and dilution.According to the mining technical conditions of No.15-6 ore body in Honghuagou Gold Mine,experimental study on upward horizontal slicing step-and-fill mining method was carried out.The method is basically based upon upward horizontal slicing dry filling mining method,mines the stope in steps,controls the stope span,and ensures the stability of the stope roof and the safe operation.The scheme effectively solves the challenges to mine the ore bodies with the thickness of 8-10 m,and is beneficial to meeting the production goal and increasing economic profits.
