Abstract: Hardness is an important index for evaluating the wear resistance of materials.In addition to traditional pure gold,gold jewelry,especially high-carat gold jewelry,includes 3D hard gold,5G gold,and ancient method gold.By consulting relevant literature on the hardness of gold jewelry published and combining years of accumulated Vickers hardness data of gold jewelry,the hardness of common pure gold and colored 18K gold jewelry is summarized to provide data support for evaluating the wear resistance of various types of gold jewelry.At the same time,referring to the classic strengthening mechanism of metal materials and combining it with the processing technology of various jewelry,the hardening mechanism of common gold jewelry is analyzed.
