Abstract: Xibeicha area is located to the south of Jiapigou Gold District,and has favorable metallogenic geolo-gical background and conditions.Gold deposit prospecting prediction in Xibeicha area is made based on a 1:10 000 ground high-precision magnetic survey and suggested that the fault is an important ore control factor of gold mineralization.Based on the metallogenic geological background,4 magnetic anomalies are delineated,tagged by C-8,C-9,C-10 and C-11 respectively.According to the magnetic anomaly characteristics,8 faults are inferred.F9 fault fits the C-10 magnetic anomaly well and has favorable metallogenic conditions,and can be taken as a prospecting prospect.
